My name is Nadine and I am a molecular biologist. While my workdays revolve around microbes (mainly parasites), microscopy and other lab work, in my leisure time I like to have my camera close by. I am using the Nikon D5600 with the Nikon AF-P DX 18-55 mm VR and the Tamron 70-300 mm. While this is rather a beginner’s setup, I do appreciate the camera’s light weight and compact size – which matters the most when out on trail! Hence, the Tamron rarely makes it into my backpack which often reaches double digits on the scale, which is when you start pondering about every additional gram. Yet I would never go on a hike without my camera.
My husband and I love hiking. We try to get out on trail as much as possible, but with limited time (and a lack of true nature around where we live) we do not manage as much as we would like to. However, a couple of times a year we make it to beautiful places, close or far, and enjoy multi-day hikes. I am happy you found your way to this website for me to share some impressions and hope you get inspired for your next journey.
In order for me to improve my photography skills, I am curious to get to know your opinion on my shots. Simply use the comment field down below. 🙂
